Events and Things to Do in Merano

Merano has a wonderful way of combining culture with city life. Concerts at the Kurhaus, open-air music, traditional festivals and atmospheric markets take place throughout the year, offering plenty of lovely reasons to visit.

From PINEA Garden Aparthotel Merano, the historic town centre is around a 15-minute walk away. Alternatively, the nearest bus stop is just 100 metres from the property, with regular services running directly to the historic centre. This makes it easy to combine events with a stroll through the town or a leisurely walk around Merano.

The traditional Haflinger horse race is another fixture on the events calendar. On Easter Monday, Haflinger horses, brass bands and traditional costume groups parade through the town before the races begin at Merano’s racecourse.
